Hailee Thomas

Hailee Thomas is a Morgan City native, residing here for all 24 years of her life. Thomas is a 2013 graduate of Central Catholic High School and a 2019 graduate from Nicholls State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree with a concentration in Graphic Design. During her time at Nicholls she was an active member of her sorority, Delta Zeta, where she held many positions and stood on various committees.

In 2014, her life-long dream was realized as she was selected to reign as the 79th Louisiana Shrimp and Petroleum Festival Queen. For the 4 years following her reign, she served as a visiting queen coordinator for coronation and festival weekends. Thomas was hired as the Assistant Director of the Louisiana Shrimp and Petroleum Festival in May 2019. Throughout her entire life, the Louisiana Shrimp and Petroleum Festival has always been one of her biggest passions.

Ms. Thomas will begin her employment as the Executive Director of the Louisiana Shrimp and Petroleum Festival on September 16, 2019. Thomas is so excited to take on this role within this organization.
